Accelerating the transition for all to clean and equitable mobility systems

Transportation and Mobility is one of the five key pathways that make up the RVAgreen 2050 Climate Equity Action Plan 2030. According to 2018 data, greenhouse gas emissions from cars and other modes of transportation account for the second largest percentage of Richmond’s carbon footprint. The City of Richmond is committed to advancing smart transportation policy that will move Richmond towards achieving its emissions reductions goals, increase mobility and equity, and improve public health.
