Apply to Retire

If you are an active or former member of the Defined Benefit or Enhanced Defined Benefit Plan, you will need to apply for retirement benefits 60-90 days prior to your retirement date. Complete the application packet and return to the Richmond Retirement System.  Please be sure that you have had an estimate of benefits request prepared first.

Your monthly pension will be paid on the last working day of the month by direct deposit.
