DPU Hiring Event is February 9
The City of Richmond Department of Public Utilities will be hosting another hiring event on Tuesday, March 8 at Main Street Station (1500 E. Main Street). This event will allow candidates looking for a new career an opportunity to apply and have an on-site interview. This is follow up to the Hiring Event held on Wednesday, February 9 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Main Street Station (1500 E. Main Street).
This event is ideal for candidates who are looking to start more than a new job, but ready to begin a new career! February 9 Hiring Event Details
With over 10 position types, candidates are likely to find one which suits their skills and interests. Featured positions at this Hiring Event include: Customer Care Specialist – Customer Service Call Center, Equipment Operator, Maintenance Operations and Crew Chief, Utilities Field Pipeline Technician, Maintenance Worker and Water Quality Technician.
Qualified applicants will be interviewed on-site. Some positions may include contingent offers of employment the day of the hiring event. These contingent offers have to be followed up with testing and a successful background check and drug/alcohol screening. Other positions will be interviewed and advised of next steps in the hiring process.
