Reid Community Center/Playground House is located in the South West part of the city on the grounds of G. H. Reid Elementary School. The playground house consists of an office, storage area and restrooms. Outside, there are four tennis courts, four basketball courts, two baseball fields, two horseshoe pits, a playground and a multi- use field.

Athletics dominates Reid's programming which includes: football, baseball, basketball, soccer, cheerleading and tennis.

Teen activities usually consist of local trips to the movies, shopping and to local attractions. In the summer, Reid offers a summer camp program for campers ages 6-12.
