WHAT:          Richmond City Council’s Education and Human Services Standing Committee will hold its regular committee meeting.



WHEN:          Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.



WHERE:        This meeting will be held through electronic communication means pursuant to and in compliance with Ordinance No. 2020-093, adopted April 9, 2020, as most recently amended by Ordinance No. 2020-232, adopted December 14, 2020.  This meeting will be accessible through electronic communication means by the public and closed to in-person access by the public. Less than a quorum of Richmond City Council will assemble for this meeting in the Council Chamber on the 2nd floor of City Hall at 900 East Broad Street in Richmond, Virginia 23219, and most Council members and other staff will participate by teleconference/videoconference via Microsoft Teams.

Public Information Advisory - June 7, 2021 Special Meeting

WHAT:          Richmond City Council will hold a special meeting to consider a motion to amend and continue ORD. 2021-115, to conditionally rezone the properties known as 2 Manchester Road and 4 Manchester Road from the RF-1 Riverfront District to the B-4 Central Business District (Conditional), upon certain terms and conditions; and to consider ORD. 2021-139, to authorize the Chief Administrative Officer, for an on behalf of the City of Richmond, to accept funds in the amount of $2,097,416.68 from the School Board of the City of Richmond and to appropriate the funds received to the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 General Fund Budget by increasing estimated revenues and the amount appropriated to the Office of the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Human Services by $2,097,416.68 for the purpose of funding payments to providers of emergency childcare and virtual learning support through the end of the 2020-2021 school year and reimbursing the City for payments made by the City in Feb., 2021, to four providers of emergency childcare and virtual learning support.
