Revised Public Information Advisory - Special Council Meeting on July 5, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.

WHAT:          Richmond City Council will hold a special meeting (i) to consider Res. No. 2022-R044, to permit and approve the issuance by the Harrisonburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority of its multifamily housing revenue bonds in an amount up to $15,000,000.00 for the acquisition, construction, renovation, rehabilitation and equipping of an approximately 66-unit multifamily residential rental housing project to be known as the Brookland Park Apartments located at 1218, 1224, 1226, and 1228 East Brookland Park Boulevard in the city of Richmond, and (ii) to introduce an ordinance to amend ch. 2, art. VI of the City Code by adding therein a new div. 6, consisting of §§ 2-1301.1-2-1301.20, concerning collective bargaining, for the purpose of providing for collective bargaining with certain City employees.       

WHEN:         Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. (The regularly scheduled Organizational Development Standing Committee meeting, scheduled for the same date and time, will take place at the conclusion of the special meeting.)
