Levar M. Stoney served as the 80th Mayor of Richmond from January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2024. During his two terms in office, the City advanced initiatives focused on economic development, infrastructure, public education, housing, public safety, and community engagement. Prior to serving as Mayor, Stoney was Secretary of the Commonwealth of Virginia and held leadership roles in state and national public service.
