11/2/26 at 8:53 p.m.: Water pressure throughout the system continues to rise and is returning to normal levels. DPU remains on generator power while Dominion Energy continues troubleshooting and works to restore commercial electrical service to the affected pump station.

The system pressure remained above 20 psi throughout the event, and the water supply remained safe for consumption. There is no boil water advisory associated with this incident.

DPU will continue to monitor system conditions while operating on generator power. 

11/2/26 at 8:37 p.m.: Power has been restored to the affected pump station, and system pressure is steadily increasing and returning to normal levels. DPU will continue to monitor the system to ensure full restoration of service. We appreciate customers' patience and understanding during this event.

11/2/26, at 8:22 p.m.: DPU is aware of low water pressure affecting customers in the Museum District, Fan, and Northside areas of the city. Following an investigation, DPU determined that the issue was caused by a vehicle striking a utility pole, resulting in a power outage at one of our pump stations.

Crews are currently transitioning the facility to generator power to restore normal operations as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
