Located in the heart of downtown Richmond, we have been serving the citizens of this great city since 1858. As the city’s Fire Chief my hope is that, as you browse through our site, you find the information contained within each section both informative and possibly lifesaving as well.

As you can see by the attached menu, we handle a myriad of duties and our personnel are constantly training and learning new skills to continue to keep our citizens safe. We strive every day to ensure fire safety in both the home and workplace.
