GOVERNMENT ROAD SLOPE REPAIR

Project Description:

This project will include environmental & geotechnical investigation, utility adjustments, and slope stabilization of the Chimborazo area failure in the vicinity of Government Road/E. Grace/North 36th/Dog Park Entrance. The existing pavement will be reconstructed, with upgrades to pavements markings.  ADA accessible sidewalk will be constructed on the southside of Government Road.

• Utility/Right of Way: $ 0

• Roadway Construction: $8,500,000

• Total Estimate: $8,675,000 

The project is funded through the Revenue Share Program. Anticipated Project Construction Schedule - Advertisement for Construction Spring 2025 - Complete Construction Summer 2026
