RFD terminated their lease on May 31, 2023 and in the interim moved to the city-owned 730 Building and leased warehouse space at 1904 Hamilton Street. In January 2023, the City of Richmond (COR) commissioned RRMM, to conduct a short term and long term space and site needs study for a new state of the art Fire Headquarters with potential location to DPW’s Belt Blvd. site.
