The City of Richmond loves our public pools. We’re the only municipality in our region to offer free outdoor and indoor public pools for our community members to gather, play, and learn to swim.
Where can I swim?
PRCF operates seven outdoor public pools and two indoor public pools. Indoor pools are where Richmonders can swim year around. Pools have regular hours for family and adult swim sessions, if there are no swimming classes scheduled.

Learn to swim and swim safety
We offer American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim lessons at all levels from beginning to advanced - child to adult. Lifeguard certification, first aid and CPR training are also available.
