Fiscal Year 2024 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program Local Solicitation

The Richmond Police Department has submitted an application to the Bureau of Justice Assistance of the U.S. Department of Justice to obtain federal fiscal year 2024 funding available through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program – Local Solicitation. The application was submitted on October 15, 2024. The Department applied for $95,517 and will use these funds to support a multi-layered approach to violent crime reduction in the City of Richmond. The application to the Bureau of Justice Assistance is available for public review and is also obtainable at Police Headquarters (200 W. Grace Street, Richmond, VA 23220). Comments from the public are welcome.
