Target Audience: MOST Ages; specifically Adults (18 and up) as well as High School aged youth.
This fair is geared for anyone that is looking for resources to get or ensure their finances are in order. It's a great opportunity for a refresher or first time tips and strategies to should keep in mind in regards to navigating personal finances.

The City Treasurer’s Office of Financial Empowerment is proud to announce its 4th Annual Financial Literacy Fair. This is being offered in partnership with the Office of Community Wealth Building to recognize the month of financial awareness. There will be vendor tables with relevant resources to support your financial wellbeing, as well as, onsite workshop session, giveaways, prizes and refreshments for all registered attendees.
The City Treasurer’s vision for this fair is for Richmonders to gain knowledge and become more equipped to manage their personal finances. “Finances are a lifelong relationship whether we want it or not. There is always knowledge to be gained or reinforced in order for us to maximize our experience with money. We are excited to use this platform to ignite a passion toward financial excellence, as well as, equip both our residents and employees with tools to navigate financial obstacles and identify strategies that will lead to financial freedom and breakthrough,” says Richmond City Treasurer Nichole R.
