Revised Public Information Advisory - Special Meeting

WHAT:          Richmond City Council will hold a special meeting to introduce (i) an ordinance amending City Code § 14-234, concerning the site-specific refinement of the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area boundaries, (ii) an ordinance declaring a public necessity for and to authorize (a) the acquisition of the real property known as 4700 Trenton Avenue and a portion of 2001 Walmsley Boulevard and (b) the grant and acceptance of certain easements relating to the acquisition of such real property, and (iii) an ordinance authorizing the Chief Administrative Officer to accept $53,054.00 from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services and appropriating the increase to the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Special Fund Budget to the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney.

WHEN:         Monday, October 7, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. (The regularly scheduled Organizational Development Standing Committee meeting, scheduled for the same date and time, will take place at the conclusion of the special meeting.)
