PUBLIC INFORMATION ADVISORY

WHAT:          Richmond City Council will hold a special meeting to consider motions to amend Ord. No. 2025-120, and Ord. No. 2025-138, and to introduce (i) an ordinance to execute a Lease Agreement with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC for a telecommunications facility; (ii) an ordinance to accept funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and to provide funding for rapid rehousing programming; (iii) an ordinance to provide for surge overflow shelter during inclement winter weather; (iv) an ordinance granting a conservation and open-space easement on certain property known as Mayo’s Island; and (v) a resolution expressing support for an application to the Virginia Department of Transportation to fund pedestrian safety improvements along Patterson Avenue.

WHEN:          Monday, July 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.  The regularly scheduled Organizational Development Standing Committee meeting, scheduled for the same date and time, will take place at the conclusion of the special meeting.
